Join our tour commemorating the 107th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme and attend some of the events commemorating this epic four-and-a-half-month battle.

Our Somme Anniversary tour will combine commemorative activity with a tour of some of the many battles that combine to make up the 1916 Battle of the Somme. You will visit some of the locations associated with the first day, 1 July 1916, which was the ‘Bloodiest Day in British Military History’. Then explore the battlefields that took place to the south of the Albert – Bapaume Road as the British tried to expand their gains of the first day, before finishing off with the battles to secure the Thiepval Ridge and Butte de Warlencourt.

Discover the incredible story behind the Battle of the Somme Campaign that took place between 1 July and 18 November 1916 and saw the British push back the German frontline in the Somme Region of Picardie, France some 10 kilometres (about 6 miles) along a 25-kilometre (16-mile) front.
