We have recently added half-day and day tour options to our range of tours. The tours currently available are:

An Introduction to the Ypres Salient

Introduction to the Ypres Salient Tour

This general overview tours covers some of the Ypres Salient’s most iconic locations.

Half-day tour includes Essex Farm, Langemark German Military Cemetery, The Brooding Soldier at Sint Juliaan, Tyne Cot Cemetery and Memorial, and the French cemetery Saint-Charles de Potyze.

Full day tour includes the above plus: The Welsh Memorial in Flanders, Polygon Wood, The Black Watch Corner Memorial, Hill 60, and the Menin Gate.

Forming of the Salient (First Battle of Ypres)

First Battle of Ypres Tour

On this tour we follow in the footsteps of the BEF in the early battles of 1914 that led to the forming of the Ypres Salient.

Half-day tour includes the 7th Division Memorial near Broodseinde, the 1st Royal Welch Fusiliers Memorial at Zandvoorde, the Household Cavalry Memorial at Zandvoorde, the Chateau and Regimental Memorials (South Wales Borderers and Worcestershire Regiment) at Gheluvelt and the Black Watch Corner Memorial.

Full day tour includes the above plus Kortekeer Cabaret, Langemark German Military Cemetery, The Gloucestershire Regiment and 18th Division Memorials at Clapham Junction, Cryer's Farm Dressing Station, Glencourse Wood, and Nonnebossen.

Gas! Gas! Gas! (Second Battle of Ypres)

Second Battle of Ypres Tour

On this tour we follow in the footsteps of the French and Canadians during the first major gas attack on the Western Front at the beginning of the Second Battle of Ypres.

Half-day tour includes the Breton Memorial to the French 87th and 45th Divisions at the Carrefour de la Rose near Pilckem, the Canadian Brooding Soldiers at Vancouver Corner near Sint Juliaan, Mouse Trap Farm near Sint Juliaan, and the Kitcheners Wood Memorial.

Full day tour includes the above plus 50th Northumbrian Division Memorial near Sint Jan, The Monmouthshire Regiment memorial near Sint Jan, Pond Farm, and Hill 60.

The Battle for the Ridge (The Battle of Messines)

Battle for the Ridge Tour

On this tour we follow the men of the Island of Ireland, New Zealanders and Australians as they attacked and drove the Germans back off the Messines Ridge to pave the way for Field Marshal Haig’s offensive to the east of Ieper (the Third Battle of Ypres).

Half-day tour includes the Spanbroekmolen ‘Pool of Peace’, the 16th (Irish) Division Memorial at Wytschaete, the Willie Redmond Memorial at Wytschaete, the New Zealand Division Memorial at Mesen, and the Island of Ireland Peace Park.

Full day tour includes the above plus Irish House Cemetery, Lone Tree Cemetery, the Miner’s Memorial at Wytschaete, Big Bull Cottages, Gabion Farm, the New Zealand Soldier Memorial at Mesen, and Saint Nicholas' Church Mesen.

Passchendaele (Third Battle of Ypres)

Third Battle of Ypres Tour

On this tour we follow in the footsteps of the British, Irish, Australian, New Zealand and Canadian soldiers that fought to push the Germans back from Ypres in the struggle of 1917 that culminated in the capture of the village of Passchendaele and the Passchendaele Ridge beyond.

Half-day tour includes the Welsh Memorial in Flanders near Pilckem, the Harry Patch Memorial near Langemark, the Irish Memorial near Sint Jan, the 5th Australian Division Memorial at Polygon Wood, the New Zealand Memorial on the Broodseinde Ridge, and the Canadian Memorial at Passchendaele.

Full day tour includes the above plus Yorkshire Trench, Artillery Wood Cemetery, Glencourse Wood, Nonnebossen, Dochy Farm, and Tyne Cot Cemetery and Memorial.

Half-day and Day Tour Prices

      €140      Half-day ― 09:00 – 12:30 or 13:30 to 17:00 daily.

      €250      Full day ― 09:00 to 17:00 hrs daily.
