You will explore iconic sites of the American sector, including Utah and Omaha beaches, the American Airborne’s area inland from Utah, and the daring cliff-top assault at Pointe-du-Hoc; the British and Canadian landing zones of Gold, Juno, and Sword, and the legendary Pegasus Bridge. From recounting the true stories behind cinematic portrayals like Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers to paying your respects at the beautifully poignant Normandy American Cemetery and British Normandy Memorial, this tour brings history to life through gripping storytelling on the ground on which these battles were fought.

Adventure Through History — Operation MARKET GARDEN Tour

Immerse yourself in one of the Second World War's most daring missions on this memorable four-day journey across the iconic battlefields of the Netherlands.

You will follow in the footsteps of the British and American Airborne and XXX Corps, experiencing the true stories behind the epic film A Bridge Too Far.

From retracing the route of "Hell's Highway" and visiting the American Airborne sites at Son en Breugel, Grave and Nijmegen, to walking the battlefields of the British 1st Airborne Division and standing on the legendary Arnhem Bridge, you will gain an unforgettable, on-the-ground perspective of the monumental acts of valour performed by the soldiers and airmen who took part in this attempt to end the war by Christmas 1944.
